Mymind alternative

Bukmarkz vs Mymind

Mymind is a private, visual place to keep bookmarks, notes, images and quotes, with AI that tags what you save. Bukmarkz is built for links: it sorts them for you, finds them by meaning, clears a read-later queue on its own and works with Claude or Cursor. It is a lighter tool with fewer platforms today.

Which should you pick?

Pick Mymind if

  • You save images, quotes and inspiration as much as links, and want a visual space to browse them.
  • You need native iOS, Android or macOS apps today.
  • You want text inside images to be searchable.

Pick Bukmarkz if

  • Most of what you save is links, and you want them sorted for you without a visual board.
  • You want to find an old link by describing it, and unread links to clear out by themselves.
  • You want your saves in Claude or Cursor, and a free plan or 6 free months of Pro without a card.

Move your saved links from Mymind

  1. Use a desktop computer with the latest Chrome or Edge. In Mymind, click the cog icon to open your Account page, then click Export my mind. Choose a subfolder (not Documents or Desktop).
  2. Mymind saves your text content, including bookmark links, in one file named cards.csv. Open it and check that there is a column holding the web address, headed URL, Link or Href. Rename the header if it is called something else.
  3. Create a free Bukmarkz account, open Import bookmarks and drop the CSV in. Duplicates are skipped. Images and PDFs do not come across.

Questions

Is Bukmarkz a good Mymind alternative?

If you mostly save links, it can be. Mymind is broader, with images, notes, PDFs and apps for iOS, Android and macOS. Bukmarkz is newer and focused on links: automatic sorting, search by meaning, a self-clearing read-later queue and use from Claude or Cursor. You can try it free and keep Mymind while you compare.

Can I import my Mymind bookmarks into Bukmarkz?

Yes, through Mymind’s export. It puts bookmark links into a cards.csv file, which you can upload on the Import page. Check the file has a column with the web address first. Images and PDFs are not imported.

Can I export from Mymind?

Yes, from the Account page with Export my mind, using the latest Chrome or Edge on a desktop. Mymind says it has no import, so keep your export file safe.

Does Bukmarkz have mobile apps?

Not yet. Today you can save from the Chrome extension and the web app. If saving from your phone is essential, Mymind has apps for it.

Do I need a credit card to try Bukmarkz?

No. You can claim 6 months of Pro free without entering a card.
