Bukmarkz MCP server

Ask Claude or Cursor about the links you saved. Your AI tools can search your vault by meaning, pull your highlights and save new links, using a token you control.

What your AI tools can do

  • search_vault

Search your saved links and notes by meaning. Read-only.

  • save_bookmark

Save a link to your vault from inside your AI tool. Pro plans only.

  • get_recent_highlights

Read the highlights you saved recently. Read-only.

  • synthesize_vault_topics

Summarize what your vault knows about a topic, with the saved pages as sources. Read-only.

Set it up in 3 steps

  1. Create a free account, then open Connect Claude / Cursor in the dashboard and create a token. It is shown once, so copy it.
  2. Add the server to your tool using one of the snippets below, replacing YOUR_TOKEN.
  3. Ask your tool something like: “Search my Bukmarkz vault for articles about pricing pages.”

Questions

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI tools like Claude and Cursor use outside data. The Bukmarkz MCP server lets them search your own saved links.

Is it free?

Free accounts get 50 tool calls a month, read-only. Pro accounts get 10,000 a month, including saving links.

Is my vault private?

Each token only reaches your own vault. Tokens are stored as a one-way hash, shown once when you create them, and you can revoke them any time. Items you mark private stay private.

Which tools work with it?

Any client that supports MCP over HTTP. Cursor connects directly. Claude Desktop connects through the mcp-remote helper, which needs Node.js.
